Autumn 🍂🍁🎃

Autumn is here!

For some, autumn is a season of long walks, for others it's the start af a post-summer depression. For Altezza, autumn is the time when the leaves turn the colours of 💛Zuzana, 🧡František, and ❤️Martina. And as for many others, autumn is also - a season of illnesses.

As some of you already know, after the last concert in June, we have finally grown into a full eight-voice ensemble 🎶🎵🎶! It's a bit of a milestone for us, as we've had a couple of double choir and eight-part pieces on our bucket list for years, and we haven't been able to perform them - until now. Now, we have welcomed a new member to our midst. You can find out who our new alto 🤍Eliška is here on the website. You can also find out where our fundamental bass 💚Matěj has moved to. And so, although Brno is still our base (with the strongest member representation of 💜Angelika, 🩷Jirka, and 💙Karel), we now come not only from five cities, but also from two countries: we live in Brno, Prague, Ostrava, Třebíč, and Brussels.

Anyway, here's the thing - we have already had three rehearsals since the end of the holidays, where all the members have met (even with the Brussels part diligently flying in 🛬). But never all eight of us together, because we were also struck by illness one by one, which of course always happens right at the moment when we were looking forward to finally singing together. That's why even in our group photo the attentive viewer won't miss that we've had to use our photoshop skills (which, like our singing, are purely amateur - but we do it with love and are not ashamed of it).

Still, we aren't giving up, we're enjoying it and we've laid out at least two new goals for before the end of next year:

1) ⛪ To present to our audience a new, purely spiritual concert programme

2) 🏙️ To sing for you in all the places where a members lives and you haven't heard us yet.

So be sure to look forward to seeing us, because the plan so far includes Prague, Třebíč - and Brussels!
